A custom-built Project Management Information System (PMIS) has been launched for the “Enhancing Climate Resilience of the Urban Landscapes and Communities in Thimphu–Paro Region of Bhutan” (2025–2031) (ECRUL) project. The system will support the Project Management Unit (PMU) and Responsible Parties (RPs) in monitoring project progress on a monthly and quarterly basis. Through the PMIS, RPs will be able to update physical and financial progress, track project risks, and monitor performance indicators in a centralized platform.
The PMIS is expected to serve as a key tool for strengthening project monitoring and reporting, improving data management, and enhancing coordination among implementing agencies. By providing timely and accurate information, the system will also support greater operational efficiency, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making in the implementation of the climate resilience project in Thimphu–Paro region.
The PMIS was developed by Thimphu TechPark Limited under the guidance of the Government Technology Agency of Bhutan over the past six months.
